Here’s a brief note on the history and operations of startups in Pakistan

Startup culture is characterized by horizontal management, open communication, flexibility and loose-flowing creativity. People, both employees and clients, are the central focus of this business lifestyle.

This culture has a way of bringing to light to inert passions of the workforce who can only suppress them for so long as individual contributions are what make all the difference. Within these startups, small teams are found to be more accommodating, which leads to a office-home balance that leads to a thrilled experience. Of course, the additional perks such as free lunches, vacations, are all the more enticing in this culture.

The office culture which supports creative thinking and innovative problem-solving also leads to development of employees while having benefits for the company as well.

Startup culture began to take shape in Pakistan a few years ago, with exponential growth being recorded in subsequent years. The country’s youth has figured that they can make money on their own instead of relying on being hired as employees of another company. Here, due credit must be given to incubation centers, accelerator programs and funding platforms who have helped sustain and improve startups across the country.
